Coweta County Fair takes place in the Newnan, Georgia during the month of September. The old old-fashioned, traditional county attracts large crowds and last 5 days. The Coweta County Fair includes a variety of midway rides, livestock, exhibits, music, and wonderful food. Contest, exhibitions, and shows include the following: Poultry Show, Flower Arranging Contest, Okefenokee Joe, Goat Show, Scarecrow Decorating Contest, Ground Beef Cook-Off, Cottontail and Cavy Show, Horse and Pony Club Demonstration, Cake Decorating Demonstration, Fruit and Vegetable Carving Demonstration, Gingerbread House Decorating Competition for Youth, Birthday Cake Decorating Competition, and Luberjack Competition. The Walker Horne Stage and Theater Area provide live shows and bands. The land area in Front of Walker Horne Stage host pioneer games. Fun activities such as the Sack Races, Hot Dog Eating Contest, 3 - Legged Race, Egg Spoon Relay, Hay Bale Toss, and Goat Dressing provide fun memorable memories for the visitors of the Coweta County Fair.
