County Hospital are Newnan Hospital. Newnan Hospital offers high
quality and compassionate healthcare services to Coweta County and the surrounding
communities. The clinical needs of children, adults and seniors are met by more
than 140 primary care and specialty physicians. Newnan Hospital facility offers
143-bed beds in its JCAHO facility. Newnan Hospital Offers the following medical
services: Emergency Services, Employee Assistance Program / EAP, Health &
Fitness Center, Imaging & Diagnostic Services, Nursing & Rehabilitation,
Sleep Center, Summit Pharmacy, Surgical Services, The Center for Women & Children,
and Wound Treatment Center.
Imaging and diagnostic services are offered through the Radiology Department,
Laboratory and Cardio-Pulmonary Department. More than 68,000 exams a year are
completed by the hospitals registered technologists. The Surgical Service team
is comprised of the surgeon, anesthesia staff, and the OR support team. Other
services provided by Newnan Hospital are medical classes and groups to help
improve the health of our community. For example, the Diabetes Support Group
meets monthly, and the Joint School, which prepares patients for surgeries like
knee or hip replacement, meets weekly. In addition, this hospital provides contracted
Employee Assistance Program services to corporations and small businesses.
